Today is Remembrance Day and it is good to remember those who have given their lives for others.  It is better to remember Jesus, the Son of God, who gave his life for our sins and was raised on the third day to life.

Luke 19:41-48 Jesus wept over Jerusalem

Verse by verse

41 “As he approached Jerusalem and saw the city, he wept over it.”

Jesus was coming down the Mount of Olives, and the city of Jerusalem came into view.  We can imagine Jesus saw the Temple and the other beautiful buildings, and the sight of it made him weep.  Read more of this post
