About

This is a blog of sermon notes preached week by week.

I keep an eye on the stats (!) and am always very pleased to receive any comments (both positive or constructively negative.)

The most popular sermons so far are:

1. “Peace and Reconciliation” (Ephesians 2:11-22) with 926 hits

2. “Knowing God better” (Ephesians 1:15-23) with 542 hits

3. “Jesus wept over Jerusalem” (Luke 19:41-48) with 404 hits

This indicates to me the topics which are resonating with people these days  (mainly Christian people I imagine) – a desire for peace, knowing God and His heart for His broken world.

It is also amazing that although this is a very modest blog, this year I have had hits from 114 countries on every continent – which shows we live in a global world and also demonstrates the power of the gospel which has reached peoples of all cultures, tribes and nations.

I sometimes read through my sermon notes and realize so much which could have been improved (and typos!), and I’m sure you will also!  Sorry about that.

I’m also aware ‘notes’ are not the same as the delivered sermon, where there is always a need to respond to the moment, and this it not reflected in the notes.

Nevertheless I pray these notes maybe a blessing.

Great Blog. Thank you for the Follow.

  2. May God richly bless you, and your online ministry.
I have rrecently read that for every person who is at a church, four are viewing resources online.
    Some dislike that.
I don’t see the online and social media as the enemy, but rather as a powerful allie.
I think the ability to reach people in predominately non-Christian countries with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is astounding.

Thank you for your encouraging comment. I agree the internet is a powerful tool and your statistic is interesting. There is so much excellent material as well as much rubbish!
